Discover the area

Forster is part of the Great Lakes district so water activities are a must, anything from a lazy sunbake, perhaps a dolphin cruise, a drive around to one of the local towns, or even go swimming with some grey nurses (sharks, not old medical staff).

Wallis Lake

From swimming in the warm shallows to hiring a boat or throwing a line, Wallis lake is a spectacular waterway that everyone will enjoy. The lake is huge and runs from Forster to Pacific Palms and Coomba Park so there’s plenty to explore. The fishing is second to none, expect flathead, bream, whiting, blackfish, and of course blue swimmer crabs aplenty!
